This is a question I have been wondering about. Has an estimate been placed on the amount of time a corps can reside inside of sealed, microbe-free environment, frozen in cryo-stasis? Would it at all be possible that human beings, perhaps dead or alive, could exist for as long as one millions years without any threat of physical decay?
The reason I am asking is simply that scientists theorize it may be possible to freeze a person in cryo for an extended period of time, say a hundred years, and revive those people back to life. If, then, supposing no harm came to the cryogenic units that contained these human specimens, Could these frozen specimens last a million years under the same conditions and still be potentially brought back to life?

Do you think that it could be possible in the future of science that cryogenicly freezing of a LIVE not dead human being that may have a terminal desease that they could bring thatm back to life when they have a cure? OR if their is no cure a that time that if they cloned their body so they could possible re-attatch the body part, organ or even their whole head or brain?
I know its FAR fetched, but Science & medicine may hold more amazing things than we could possible imagine.
I know its an absurd thought & idea, but they say anything is possible right?

even if they do find a way to reanimate you in the future and repare the damage caused by corruption ,will that person still be you? I mean surely they will have to replace or regrow some of the cells in your brain but how many cells have to be replaced before you are no longer you but a clone and the real you is dead.i am 15 and find the idea of one day becoming a human ice lolly strangely alluring ,but i want to know that when i am defrosted that I will still be me and not a clone type thing.

If sperm is live how can you freeze it using liquid nitrogen and cryogenics and then bring it back to life 10 years later? What happens to the ‘life’ part of the sperm during this period. Is it frozen in a state of slumber and what causes it it reappear upon defreezing?

Well Im doing a power point for school on the topic. Do anyone know How the community might be affected by it? The effects of the issue among the medical profession and society itself? The ethical issues surrounding the topic? What are some pros and cons dealing with this issue?
