Mos school is 107 days. I used the google to look that up. It did not say if that was days of instruction or not. You have to tale into account the days waiting for class to start and weekends. So my guess would be 6 months. The fleet is what you make of it. After school I was assigned to a Comm battalion but from there was assigned to a MEU. I thought it would suck at first but it was great. Had I been allowed to reenlist as permanent personnel with MEU C/E I would have. I did not have that mos.
/schools/soi/new/documents /schoollocations.doc This is where I found it I googled “mos 6074 Cryogenics Equipment Operator” and that is how I found it.
