Is Cryogenics For You?
Filed Under Current Events | 2 Comments
If you are under 60 years old would you agree to be frozen now before you die in the belief that there will be life extension techniques in the future? Lets say in 200 years from now they can make you live an xtra 150 years.

the american revolution, somehow got out of stasis during the civil war, yet was tied down and brought back to stasis after shooting someone pivital and causing the south to lose, he’s put back into stasis right after hearing about the alamo and stuff/spanish american war/indian massacre… for a couple hours during world war one he is awakened from cryogenics again and tries to stay out yet somehow ends up in germany and then britain tries to find him he runs back to the cryogenic chamber, some vagrant trips the switch and he wakes up during WWII, the germains find his chamber yet it’s all over and they lose, some american soldiers try to make him sleep again yet he stays around til the korean/vietnam thing, he fights those, gets some purple hearts, then only asks he be put back in the chamber, comes out during iraq 1 and 2…ect…

We know about cryogenics as the branch of physics that studies the phenomena that occur at very low temperatures, w/c in one way or the other stops (or slows down) aging.

The scenario.. Lets say you are rich and get sentenced to 100 years in jail with no possibility of parole.
With that in mind.
A.) You die of natural causes after 30 years.
1.)Is there any law that would restrict you from putting your body into a cryogenic state in hopes that you would be able to get revived in the future?
2.) If you could, and implausibly were brought back to life, would you have to go back to jail?
B.) What if you were in jail and the sentence you received was the death sentence?
1.) would the law then preclude your from Cryogenics?
2.) If you were brought back to life would you have to go back to jail? Would you be killed again? or would your sentence be fulfilled seeing as the state did kill you?
C.) Would your time being frozen count as time served?
If you got a 60 year term, and being revived after cryogenics was perfected, and the gov said you couldn’t do it, wouldn’t that be like them giving you a term of ‘forever?’
Well, if you do cryogenics.. you would be dead.
So.. the question is..
Would the state let you do it? and what would be the results if you were brought back to life.
For arguments sake you can say in the death penalty example that you died from firing squad and one way or another they revived you by either growing you new organs or replacing the damaged organs at the time they brought you out of the cryogenic state.

Will cryogenics work?
Filed Under Biology | 5 Comments
I want to sign my body up for cryogenics, because there may be a chance that in the future, with improved technology that bodys that are preserved well enough could be revived. What do you think about cryogenics? Do you think it could work?

Cryogenics & Cloning?
Filed Under Biology | Leave a Comment
Do you think that it could be possible in the future of science that cryogenicly freezing of a LIVE not dead human being that may have a terminal desease that they could bring thatm back to life when they have a cure? OR if their is no cure a that time that if they cloned their body so they could possible re-attatch the body part, organ or even their whole head or brain?
I know its FAR fetched, but Science & medicine may hold more amazing things than we could possible imagine.
I know its an absurd thought & idea, but they say anything is possible right?
