If the process was cheap, guaranteed and always successful would you want to be frozen through cryogenics?

Note: the question presumes that it has been proven to you beyond all reasonable doubt that a body can be frozen and re-awakened successfully. It is 100% certain that you can be awakened at your chosen date in the future.

    heck yes i would totally do that. every once in a blue moon i think about that. and wish i can do it. but its not guaranteed to work..yet. and its like a billion and a half dollars! ha not really..

    No. Because nothing is “always” successful. Look at poor Ted Williams, or at his head, or what ever was frozen. No, no thanks. One of the few 100% certain things in life is death – I don’t think you can cheat it.

    Those three presumptions are so unlikely to be met that I wouldn’t suggest you start with them. You also need to add another one “presume that some future blackmailer would not threaten to shut off the coolant to your little cryopod unless he is paid a big ransom.” That is the kind of future event I predict and it stops me from doing a quick sign-up.

    Yeah I would only to find out about the future. It may not be what I want it to be… but it would be nice to know.

    Most definitely… you would then finally find out whether there really is an afterlife…. then you could get rich off of it.

    I’d rather enjoy what is left of current life right now than wait for what could be. Just because things may not be so great right now, doesn’t mean that the future holds something better… in fact what if the future holds something even worse?

    No. A future world probably won’t be any better and I wouldn’t know anyone. If science and technology were significantly advanced, I’d be out of the mainstream. Doesn’t sound like much fun.

    No Thanks. Not sure I’d want to wake up in a time & place where everything was different and everyone I knew was either dead or still frozen!
