But then after you get revived, (in the future) wouldn’t you get lonely? I mean, ur family’s gone and so are ur friends.
Evrythings just so alien and weird.

Would you ever preserve ur body like this?
(It’s Cryogenics right?)

Just like to know ur thoughts. :)
thnx!
Yeah, i think it won’t work either.

But some rich people pay a lot of money to do this when they die.
Talk about wanting to live forever..

Cryogenics for a human body doesn’t work. It causes permanent damage to the cells.

If they corrected that problem, then I’d have no problem where there was a need (ie. I had an incurable disease that they might find a cure for later). It would not be an ideal solution, but would be preferrable to death…

No because my spirit would already be in heaven so my body would be soulless or occupied by a demon.

I’ve had a similar dream to this scenario: I dreamt I had to be put under suspended animation (whenever that’s invented – lol) due to some weirdo disease I contracted. I awoke 20 years later only to find, as you put it, an “alien” world.

All my friends were older and married. My crush moved on and married someone else. I felt so alone.

So that was just a dream, but it still woke me awake with tears… I know, pretty bizzare. To answer your Q, I would never want to be preserved. If I couldn’t be with my family and friends, I wouldn’t want to do that to myself.

only if i was diagnosed with AIDS or some current disease with no current cure, but it would be a big deal because to my family it would essentially be like i died, so either way they lose.

    *cough*Walt Disney did it*cough*
Because by the future I imagine a super race might of come about and I wouldn’t be able to keep up.

Some rich people have done that. If I had the funds to pay for it, I would not. People die when their bodies are worn out or destroyed. When some poor suffering soul dies, why would he want to wake up in such a wretched state?
People that do this for real believe that death is the end. I don’t! I think it may only be the beginning.
But, such a situation may present itself in space travel in the future. If a person traveled to a distant star system via a worm hole and returned to earth ten years later, he might find that the earth had aged several thousand years.
That would be close to the same situation, wouldn’t it?

They want to live forever because they never’ve lived at all when they had the chance to!
